Rosetta Maclean Park at night again

Here’s another shot from my night outing to Rosetta Maclean Park. See the four kids leaning against the chainlink fence? They are overlooking a 100ft+ drop down the bluff face to Lake Ontario. Also notice one of them seems blurred? … Continue reading

Another moon shot

It’s not really much of a photo, but I like it because of the plane flying through the shot. The slow shutter speed caused the plane to show up as a trail of light, with each blink of the planes … Continue reading

Rosetta Mclean Park at Night

Here’s another photo from last night’s outing, taken at a park not far from my home. Boy was it hot and humid last night. Fortunately the humidity just broke about two hours ago and it’s cooled down somewhat. Anyway, this … Continue reading

Scarborough Bluffs

Which of these two photos works best, #1 or #2? 1. 2. The one neat feature about Rosetta Maclean Park is that the south end of it overlooks Lake Ontario. The bluffs drop off about 200 feet or so, I’m … Continue reading

Squirrelly Cold

I popped out this morning for a very short photography outing to Rosetta Maclean Park. I’ve posted summer photos from this park back in July (see category). Doesn’t look anything like that today. It was cold but at least not … Continue reading

Curious Little Fella

This little guy just couldn’t help himself. I’m guessing he thought my camera might be food. He’d run away, then come back, then run away, then come back for another looksee. Cute as kittens. The photo is from Rosetta McLean … Continue reading

Flowers in Rosetta McLean Park

I think the title pretty much tells all there is to tell. I guess I could complain about the lens on my camera not being fast enough to get the shallow depth of field I wanted. The best the lens … Continue reading

Droplets on Petal

This photo is from Rosetta McLean Park again. The morning dew on the petals looked cool in the sunlight.

Morning through the trees

This photo is from last week’s beach sunrise collection. I took it after the beach, at Rosetta McLean Park. Beyond that chainlink fence is a hundred foot drop down the bluffs to the shoreline of Lake Ontario.

Long shadows at Rosetta McLean Park

Here’s another photo showing off the long shadows at Rosetta McLean Park. The tree casting those shadows is a really funky one. I’ve got another photo that’ll give you a better idea of what I’m talking about. I’ll post it … Continue reading
