The calm waters

Here’s the sort of shot I really have trouble with. There’s very little contrast and I’m not really sure how to deal with that. I actually like those soft photos, especially the ones shrouded in fog, but I have no … Continue reading

Canoes-a-plenty

On the weekend during my stroll down the beach I came across this old canoe storage building and they happened to have the doors open. I thought it might make a nice photo. Hope you like it.

Skywatch Friday – The Beach

THE BEACH A moment ago I heard your soft voice calling my name from a pebble on an empty beach. Turning it over and again, in my hand, waiting for something more, while a lick of waves against the shore … Continue reading

Day & Night

Here are two photos of the Leuty Lifeguard Station in the Toronto Beaches, one day and one night. I took the first photo this afternoon during a walk on the boardwalk. The night shot was taken a while back.

Naked Trees at Sunset

Picnic Bench Season

The title is supposed to represent irony, since this photo was taken on Christmas day. The dock that this bench rests upon is part of the Leuty Lifeguard station. Happy Friday everyone!
