Under Varsity Stadium

This photo was actually taken through a chain link fence. I just liked the angles and the light and the people. The girl on the left against the wall really added something, I think. Varsity Stadium of a University of … Continue reading

..words.. Part II

I posted a close-up of this door a while back, which I thought turned out really nice. Here’s an expanded version. I like how the colours came out. Hope you like it too.

The ROM

Here’s a photo of the Royal Ontario Museum, aka the ROM. I won’t get into it about this recent multi-million dollar reno, except to say it’s SHIT! Mind you, from this perspective it looks rather interesting. But trust me, it’s … Continue reading

Life in the curve (a.k.a. RABBA x 4)

To be honest, I really wasn’t sure how to compose this shot, or if there even was a shot there at all. I just knew I liked the gritty feel of this old apartment building downtown and wanted to photograph … Continue reading

3 1/2 Windows

This photo was taken in a back alley just off Bloor St. W. It’s the same wall that my other photo, “..words..” came from.

Elevators

This photo comes from the roof deck of a six story parking garage in Yorkville. The roof deck of parking garages make a great vantage point for city photography.

Nice Straight Building

I usually have to do a lot of lens correction to get my buildings to stand up straight, but for some reason this one worked out pretty good straight out of the camera. This is another photo from the roof … Continue reading

Little Pink House

Here’s another photo from atop the parking garage in Yorkville. I thought this little pink (or mauve?) house looked so out of place surrounded by all the highrise buildings. Hope you like it.
