Here’s a b & w of the Waterworks in Toronto’s east beaches. I took this a couple of weeks back.

Dark, dramatic and moody PLUS another really nice sky! The strong lines work so well against the randomnly shaped cloud forms. Well done, Dave! 🙂

  2. Looks very monolithic and stark. The diagonal lines draw you in.

    Very nice Dave.
    Lovethe sky.
Here is my version of the same subject…

I *just* posted my adventure starting at the water plant. I may not have the greatest camera, but I did take a lot of shots.

It’s a really pretty building for being a water filtration plant, don’t you think? I like your interpretation–the angle, the choice of black and white, the framing with lots of sky…!

Thanks everyone. I really like your composition, Mauro, and the grain of film just adds to the shot. Nice. Clara, I checked your blog but couldn’t find any water plant shots. Let me know when you post them.

This is one fabulous photo in every way Dave.

  7. Davey, seriously, I think your art is getting better and better with each photo you post. Great stuff, lazy one, oh yeah.
