Little J-Man

My buddy popped over this afternoon with his youngun, J-Man (not his full name). We hung out on the front porch and finally I decided to get the camera out and give the flash a try. Coincidentally, it’s his flash (Canon 430EX II speedlite). He lent it to me to try out. Here’s one of little J-Man that I really like. I pointed the flash unit straight up and used the built-in diffuser, plus in some cases my hand, to bounce the light.

Beautiful picture! Do you mind if I use this photo for a chapbook I’m creating? This little guy resembles what I envisioned one of the characters in the short story looking like. I would of course, credit you and it’s really only for a college course in publishing, but I would really appreciate it!
