Broken Arrow

The term “broken arrow” describes an accidental event that involves nuclear weapons or nuclear components but does not create the risk of nuclear war — think bomber crashing with nukes on board. In this case it refers to the broken directional arrow in a parking garage that Mauro and I were exploring in downtown Toronto some weeks back. Again taken with my Panny.

So many people drive right over that arrow not paying any attention to its appearance, thinking nothing about it except the direction they are supposed to be driving in. It’s nice to capture such things.

  2. Nice shot and wordplay.

Thanks Wildstorn and Bob. I was glad there were no cars on this level or I think it would have ruined the shot.

Oh, you will HAVE to back to this garage and take another shot when there is only ONE car in that spot at the far end. AND if you could get it with it’s brake lights on, now wouldn’t that be neat?? (How’s that for an assignment for ya?) 😉

And if it was a big black convertible Cadillac and the guy driving was wearing a fedora and there was a one-eyed talking dog with a bad attitude in the passenger seat and… 🙂

I’ll head down now and wait it out… 🙂

      Just teasing, Tracy. Thanks.

OMIGOD!,YESSSSS! 😀 Glad you GET it! I like the way your mind works…take an idea and completely run with it! That really sounds like it would be an awesome photo (guy with a fedora and one-eyed dog – you crack me up!) I bet now you WILL go back to that spot on occasion just to SEE what is there! You’re welcome! 😀
