Winter’s Here!

A few posts back (around Christmas) someone asked if we actually had no snow in Toronto. At the time we didn’t. It’s here now. This photo was taken Saturday while out with my buddy Lawrence, from the bridge at Queen St. overlooking the Don Valley. Boy oh boy was it coooold! How cold was it? It was soo cold my neighbour pleaded guilty to a parking ticket and asked for the electric chair.

Yup, that’s what snow looks like (please melt soon).

I know. Yuk. And did I mention how cold it is… 🙂

It just hit freezing and that’s exciting, of course with the winds it feels 10 degrees colder, but still warmer than most days recently. I don’t like being a person who thinks about the weather so much, but with all my shoveling and painful walks lately, it’s hard not to think about it and of course, complain about it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Although we’ve had very little snow here, it’s been pretty cold since the new year. Saturday was -15 C without the wind chill factor. Today it has warmed up nicely to about -1 C, which is t-shirt weather here in Toronto. 😉

Hang in there, spring’s only six or seven months off…
