I won a photo contest!

I submitted my winter photo of the icy rocks at the Waterworks here in Toronto a while back to a photography assignment/contest at the “About.com: Photography” site and, much to my surprise and delight, won! How about that. I’d like to say thank you to the host of the site, Liz Masoner, for choosing my entry. About two months earlier I was one of the finalists for another photo.       Hi Penny! Another pleasant surprise. Penny and I have been friends coming on 20 years now.
      I’d be happy to email you the full-sized file and you could get it done at Costco. I probably wouldn’t make it too big, like maybe no more than 30″ on the long/wide end. 12 x 18 would be the ideal size for this resolution.

    Congratulations!… that’s awesome. I love the photo. I submitted about 8 photos to the Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest a couple of months ago. I guess I’ll find out if any of mine made it in the next couple of months. I will be surprised if any of them do. 🙂
