FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – BLACK & WHITE WEDNESDAY!

The Lazy Photographer Worldwide Headquarters, Toronto Canada — Beginning tomorrow morning The Lazy Photographer, the brainchild of amateur photographer and playboy blogger Dave B., will celebrate the fine art of black & white photography by posting only black & white photos throughout the day, aptly named “Black & White Wednesday” (Dec 9, 2009). While at the moment this would appear to be a one time event for The Lazy Photographer, Dave was hesitant to use such restrictive language.

“Oh, I don’t know, we’ll see how it goes. Right now I have a handful of black & whites kicking around that I’d really like to share. I’d planned on posting them willy nilly between my colour photos, but thought maybe a day dedicated to black & white would make for a nice change,” said Dave from The Lazy Photographer Worldwide Headquarters in East Toronto, Canada.

Like any public event, its success will be measured by the number of visitors to The Lazy Photographer. Dave is hopeful that those who visit his blog regularly will drop by tomorrow to oooh and awww over his black & whites. “I hope people will drop by tomorrow to see my photos,” said Dave. He sounded, um, excited?

Dave B. has been practising photography since being laid off back in late May as a way to distract himself from the harsh reality of life sans gainful employment. A regular at the lotto booth at his local mall, Dave is betting his retirement entirely on matching six numbers in the very near future. When asked about Dave the lazy photographer, the lotto booth clerk said, “Yeah, that loser invests a crisp five dollar bill pretty much weekly here. I hope he wins so he can run out and buy a DSLR camera and stop his incessant whining about having to shoot with that piece of crap point & shoot he carries around everywhere. Like, SHUT UP already.”

Currently Dave shoots with a 2005 model, 5 megapixel Panasonic point & shoot with 6x zoom. He aspires to one day take some photography courses and upgrade to a Nikon D90. When not taking photos and being generally annoying, Dave spend much of his time juggling dates with Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman, and offering sage dating advice to Tiger Woods; oooh, and watching must-see TV, such as The Middle, Modern Family, Cougartown, and of course Family Guy.

His favourite colours are black and white, an irony entirely lost on him.
