Vertigo

The Glen Manor ravine I was in last weekend had these wooden stairs everywhere, which was really helpful in getting some nice photos from a high vantage point. I took this photo and when reviewing it later sort of got a sense of vertigo. The colour version is nice but somehow I think it makes a better black & white. Hope you like it.

Fantastic perspective and detali. Framing is accurate and exposure spot on. Beautiful B/W: Bravo, Dave!

      Hi Lynn,

Mauro’s blog is called Never in Colour. Just click the title to get to it. He’s a very experienced photographer who shoots black & white film with a kick-ass Leica camera. He also write interesting pieces on photography. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I know, but in a middle aged moment I forgot the name of his blog before I had a chance to add it to my blogroll. I’ll do it now, thank you.

No no no, I was just kidding, honest. It was Mother Nature who set it up before I got there. πŸ™‚ The narcissist in me thinks she set it up just for my photo. πŸ™‚
