Chocolate-walnut Brownies, almost homemade

Ever since I got addicted to the Food Network I’ve allowed my creative juices to flow in the kitchen. Mind you, most of the time I’m lazy, but at least once or twice a week I pump out something yummy for da tummy. Yesterday I made some brownies, but with the brownie mix rather than entirely homemade. I did stray from the package instructions by adding toasted walnuts. I’ve made this before, but with walnuts toasted with maple syrup, and let me tell you, yum, yum yum. This time I left out that step and although the end results are great, it’s missing that little extra summin-summin. Anyway, call me crazy but I had to take a photo of my handywork.
