Saturday Stroll


The original plan was to photograph this old cart on its own, but when the older couple walked into the frame I knew they added to the photo.

  1. Yes, the couple add interest to the subject. Makes for a much better photo than just the wagon wheels alone, IMO. I like the low angle as most people would not make the effort.

      Or lucky… 🙂 Thanks. This shot would make a good HDR image, except that any movement (as in old folks walking by) in the image messes it up. To make HDR work you have to have a static image, because you are working with three separate shots of the same thing.

  3. There is a way to make an HDR image from ONE photo. You create two copies of the image, make one two stop less exposure and the other two stops more exposure using software. Then combine the three.
