Thought you might enjoy a couple of photos of Rosetta McLean Park, arguably the nicest park in all of Scarborough. Best of all, it’s a ten minute walk from my front door, and it’s on the bluffs. The third photo was taken from the south edge of the park to give you an idea of the view. It’s a great place to read or write, or take photos. That big stone at the centre of the main garden is actually a waterfall, so to speak. You can see the water flowing over it in the first photo. The centre of the park has this huge horseshoe shaped flower garden, surrounded by trellises with the stone being the centre piece, as you can see in photos #1 & #2.

It really is. There’s also this huge rose garden that runs up a hill. The park is large, but not so large that you’d get lost or anything. Great place for a picnic. I love it there but I don’t seem to get there much these days.
